Chinese scholars discovered Powers' work on the internet, and
presented a paper at the International Control Systems Group
meeting in Los Angeles, 2004: Perceptual
Control Theory, Philosophy, and China (Adobe.PDF)
or (HTML). Subsequently, this
group translated
Behavior: the Control of Perception, the seminal work
on control theory. The Chinese edition of B:CP was published
by Guangdong Higher Learning Education Press, 2005, Guangzhou,
China. Available in the US from Benchmark Publications Inc.
The 2006 Annual Meeting of the Control
Systems Group took place July 17 to 20, 2006 in Guangzhou, the
capital city of Guangdong Province in the People's Republic
of China. The three days of meetings were hosted by:
